Silent Hill

Anyone else seen this trailer yet?

You can just see a half-second flash of pyramidhead.
and there are stills out too.

flesh skirt yum.

Silent Hill was scaring the crap out of me last night, and I wasn't playing it. The power was off all up mccloud hill last night, I wasn't getting any radio signal, and it was snowing. >.0

So my radio was playing static as I drove through the snow in the dark, expecting some creature made up entirely of legs to lurch out of the woods.
Didn't help that the volume on the radio kept turning up by itself.... ;_;
and I'd just watched the trailer that afternoon.

*cough cough* anyway.
what do you guys think?

Let me be the first to say... egads!

That's the most graphic, yet over-the-top monster I think I've seen to-date... it makes me a little bit sad that gaming industries feel that the only way they can sell a series (coz in the case of Silent Hill ... it WASN'T for the story IMHO) is by creating an extra-provocative monster... one more so then the first... That's why I've been such a supporter of Half Life... their monsters are gross... but in alot of respects... THEY started the "Gross Monster Revolution"...

Either way... that monster is about the most revolting thing I've seen todate... and I've seen ALOT of freakin' revolting monsters XD

Whoa, what a FX budget. That being said that was a pretty cool trailer. That might be a movie to look in to.

Btw, was it just me or did some of those shots look like game play. And I somewhat recall that it was a guy looking for his daughter. I think I might be wrong about the later part, it has been quite a while.
